How do I configure my farm (species, breeds, statuses…)?
The Configuration page lets you fully customize your farm: add or edit species, breeds, colors/mutations, statuses, health monitoring types, exhibition types and expense categories. Each configuration can have its own color and icon.
How do I customize the sidebar?
In the Configuration page, 'Sidebar' tab, you can reorder the displayed modules and hide those you don't use. This order also applies to the navigation buttons on mobile. The sidebar can also be collapsed to compact mode (icons only) by clicking the collapse button at the bottom. The state is remembered between sessions.
How do I configure species in detail?
Each species can have a name, an emoji, an incubation period in days (used for automatic hatching calculation), a typical clutch size, an interval between eggs and a banding delay in days. You can create new species according to your needs.
How do breeds and colors work per species?
Breeds and colors are linked to a species. Filter by species to see only the associated breeds or colors. Colors can have a hexadecimal code for a visual preview. You cannot delete a breed or color already used by a bird, the application will notify you.
How do I customize statuses?
Statuses are organized by type: birds, eggs and pairs. Each status can have a custom name, color and icon. Default system statuses are locked but you can create as many as you need. A status in use cannot be deleted.
Can default elements be modified or deleted?
Elements marked as 'System' (default species, breeds, colors, statuses) cannot be deleted. However, you can disable them so they no longer appear in selection lists. Your custom elements are fully editable and deletable, as long as they are not used by existing data.
How do I set the default view for a module?
In the Configuration page, you can set whether each module opens in grid, list or table view by default. You can also choose whether a module opens directly in full screen (maximized) on desktop.
Is the configuration synchronized across my devices?
Yes, your configuration is stored on the server and synchronized across all your devices. Whether you're on desktop, tablet or phone, you'll find the same sidebar organization, the same widgets and the same settings.
Can I reset the dashboard or sidebar configuration?
Yes, in the Configuration page, a 'Reset' button lets you restore the dashboard widgets and sidebar to their original state. This action requires confirmation before being applied.
